This day is the day of departure. We assemble at the airport in the morning and check in our luggage. After taking the group photo, Ziya, Yee Yen and I head off to the gate. As our time is still early, we went around the shop inside until we were allowed to enter the gate. This was the first time I am taking the plane and was very excited. The ride was very interesting especially when we were taking off. The service on the plane was good too. The scenery up in the air was beautiful. Four hours later, we finally reach Chengdu. The weather was cold.After collecting our luggages, we head off to our buses and proceed to the campus. The campus was huge and the team leaders are very friendly. At the girls’ dorm, all of us were excited to see our room. After some administrative procedure, we head of to the room. We were in the room for some time until dinner time and we head off to the campus canteen to have our dinner. When dinner is done, the team leaders took us to the campus supermarket to purchase some items. Later, we headed back to our dorms and took a bath. The toilet door is just a curtain and we need to pay for the warm water we need for bathing using the e-card issued. First time bathing with only curatin was a special experience. Ziya also warn us about squatting to take our stuffs while inside the shower because when we squat, people outside will be able to see us. Everyone was laughing about it when she told us.Later in the night, the team leaders also help us to install our internet stuff. Although lots of time is wasted, they did not complain. They are really helpful. We were informed that the light will be cut off at 11pm and most of us starts to panick. When 11pm reach, the lights were off. After using it for awhile, 4 of us headed to bed.
