It’s Saturday again, so today we went to some tourist attractions-DuJiangYan and Mount QingCheng. The meeting time was like early in the morning, and was very cold. First stop, Du Jiang Yan. I wanted to sleep in the bus, but the bus driver was like honking all the way, so noisy. The tour guide explained some history and stuffs about Du Jiang Yan, but I don’t think we are listening. Hehe. The Sun was so huge! It’s like super warm that day and we wore a lot of clothes. Took lots of pictures and waited for further instructions. There is a discount for student and too bad for Huan Min, she forget to take her student ID, so she need to pay adult rate. The first statue we saw was Ding Bao Zhen, the creator of our favourite dish, Gong Bao Ji Ding. My favourite place in Dujiangyan was the shaky bridges. There are 2 of it and is super shaky. Jiale is super afraid of the bridge. At first, she didn’t want to cross, but she got no choice because in order to go to the other side of the place, she had to cross. In the end, she managed to cross it even though she spent a lot of time. Haha. Ziya and Jolean were shaking the bridge purposely so to scare Jiale. The most amazing place was the Yu Zue when we saw the dam and the flowing current. The current was so big and there is like a hurricane (I don’t know what’s the name) in the middle of the sea. After Yu Zue, we took the tram back and went shopping. I bought some foods, the Ji Dan Gan and Long Xu Tang. Next, LUNCH!!!! We went to the nearby restaurant. The foods there were not really nice, and a bottle of 2L Pepsi was 15 yuan. Freaking 15 yuan. The campus supermarket was selling at 6 yuan only. After lunch, was Mount QingCheng. I didn’t know that we need to climb the stairs up. It was so tiring. At first, I wanted to give up, but I was half way there. Hence, Veronica and I try our best to climb up. FINALLY!!! WE REACHED THE TEMPLE!!!! It was a Taoism temple and most of us went to pray. Near the temple, there are some people selling some pendants. There are names and zodiac on the pendants which are sort of an amulet for us. I bought 7 of it. Two zodiac pendants for my grandparents, two zodiac pendants for my parents and three name pendants for my sisters and I. After buying those stuffs, it’s time for us to walk down. In the middle of it, there is also a temple, a small one. There were donkeys passing by. The donkeys were so poor thing. They were like beaten and they need to carry 2 baskets of stones. It is so heart breaking to see that. It is like animal abusing. Around 5pm, it is time to go home. All of us slept throughout the journey back home, so tired. After that, we went to had dinner with Huanmin and gang followed by bathing and SLEEP TIME!!!!haha.
